Fifty Years of Cultural Resilience

Founded in 1974, Al Kasaba has been a beacon of Palestinian identity — a site of resistance, creativity, and community that has nurtured generations of artists and audiences.

Since opening its Ramallah home in 2000, it has become one of the most significant cultural institutions in the Arab world, spanning professional theatre, cinema, arts education, and entrepreneurship.

Culture is not a luxury — it is the very essence of who we are.
