The Lady's Dog play , a black comedy about a theatrical script by the Iraqi writer Ali Abdul Nabi al-Zaidi "The Comedy of the Seven Days", the text talks about a poor family consisting of a grandfather and grandson who suffer from a lack of food, and suddenly an aristocratic cook enters their house with her dog, and offers them delicious food for seven days without any compensation, and the surprise occurs when the dog dies poisoned by the poison of the mice in the house, and the cook accuses them of terrorism and criminality, and They are offered the choice of mourning and fasting for seven days or report them to the authorities and then to prison, so they choose to mourn and fast instead of prison, and they become slaves in the service of this stranger who entered the house in the darkness of the night to turn the place into a narrow box for its owners.
