In the year 2008 Al-Kasaba Theatre & Cinematheque began to organize Al-Manara International Theatre Days Festival, and within only two years the festival has become an important event in Palestine, particularly after the success of the festival in 2009.  The festival hosted in the past two years 20 groups from Germany, France, Belgium, Denmark, Britain, Morocco, Tunisia, and Palestine, in addition to organizing workshops and panel discussions.
