Ramzi Abu Almajd 1995

What is a man? And what is and identity?

Two Palestinians are presented both from jaffa. The first carries a fine touch of Israelity in his personality and has never departed from his homeland, while the other carries a keen touch of sorrow and lives in gaza since the Diaspora in 1948.

The first holds a blue identity card enabling him to freely move around, while the second has a red one that keeps creating trouble for him. Two Palestinians are separated by color discrimination enforced by the Israeli government.

A worker from Gaza works in Jaffa without a permit. An Arab colleague from Jaffa helps him take advantage of an identity of a murdered man, in order to survive economically and he steadfast in his homeland.

Engaging in a keen discussion and a hard-to-accept conversation well as feeling severe stress, e finally agrees to forget his name and acquire and dead mans identity.

The play was produced in 1995 . The actor Ahmad Abu – Saloum won the prize for best actors acting prize in the seventh festival for Carthage Theatre Days.
